From your initial evaluation to a completed vision and medical plan, Dr. Clyde will oversee your care and ensure you are seeing your best.
About Dr. Clyde
Dr. Levi Clyde was born and raised in Wyoming. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree from Chadron State College in Nebraska, he moved to Houston to attend the University Of Houston College Of Optometry, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. After receiving his Doctorate, he further obtained his certification as a Glaucoma Specialist.
He has been practicing for the last nine years in the Houston and North Texas areas. His clinical interests include treatment and management of glaucoma and other medical eye conditions, surgical pre and post-operative care for cataracts and refractive surgery, along with routine eye examinations and contact lens fittings. He has also been active in multiple charitable programs, including the See to Succeed program, which, along with the Department of Health and Human services, provides no-cost eye exams and glasses to area children in need. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Clyde enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends, especially his wife and his two sons.
Allison Lott Clyde, General Manager
Allison is a communications and business specialist who brings 20+ years of experience in customer service, marketing, business management, and administration to Alvin Eye & Vision. With an eye for detail, Allison will ensure that every patient not only finds the best pair of frames for their needs, but gets all-star treatment every step of the way.
Allison took over the business operations for the practice in 2017, and oversees all things non-clinical at Alvin Eye & Vision. Together since 2013, Allison & Dr Clyde married in 2020, making Alvin Eye & Vision a family-owned and operated small business.
